Studio Ghibli’s, even if you haven’t heard of the studio, Co-Founder, Isao Takahata sadly has passed away. You would of for sure heard of some of the anime’s they had created. I mean Takahata was behind some big named animes, Kiki’s Delivery Service, The Red Turtle and The Tale of Princess Kaguya. Also, some TV Anime’s also.
Isao Takahata was one of the co-founders of Studio Ghibli. He was born in October 1935. His big break was actually with Toei Animation while he was in University. Another big Anime company. When growing up he met Hayao Miyazaki and later founded the now well known Studio Ghibli. While finding Studio Ghibli he directed the absolutely amazing Grave of the Fireflies.
According to Yahoo! Japan, Takahata had passed away due to complicated health issues. He passed away at home, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.
It has come to a surprise to us all while everyone around the world is currently sharing their favourite moments of Takahata. Takahata and Miyazaki definitely revolutionized the way Anime is today and will forever be in my memory through his movies and many others.
