Remember Moments of Triumph from the original Destiny? It’s making its way back to Destiny 2 this time round. When it originally came round it was the last bit of life that Bungie gave to Destiny before moving on to Destiny 2. Is this the end of Destiny 2 nigh?
In The developers community focused holiday that happens once a year on July 7th Bungie confirmed that the Moments of Triumph is making a return. The first year Triumphs are now live and you can go to Bungie’s website to track your current progress.
If you don’t know what the Moments of Triumph are. They’re a bunch of feats that you have completed throughout the year of Destiny 2 such as completing a raid or collecting an exotic or even completing a certain task all leading to accomplishments to unlock exclusive cosmetics.
This years moments are worth a value of 400 points and as of right now you can earn 225 of those. The others will come on July 31st in time for Forsaken Solstice of Heroes begins.
The rewards to look pretty sweet and very fitting for a Triumphant victory. You can gain an emblem for any completed Triumph. For gaining 125 points you get an exclusive ghost shell called Right Choice. At 250 points you gain access to purchase a T-Shirt for $29.99 and get your gamertag added for a further $5. It is a bit pricey but if you see another fellow guardian in the street it’s definitely a statement.
When the next stage of MoT drops to gain more points. At 300 you will get a Legendary Sparrow that matches the ghost and if you earn all the points you can change the appearance of your MoT emblem, another statement maker.
Bungie has also given us a sneak peak at their new armour for the MoT that will be available to earn in the Solstice of Heroes event.
